The Perfect Storm

Thunder
The world's drumbeat.
Striking fear into your frozen body, while your heart pounds uncontrollably and the thoughts race.
The tension forces your mind into a narrow pathway between the norm and the magnificent.
It keeps you alert, all the while wishing you into a corner of a different time.
The deadly flashes of lightning reflect throughout your world, everything about it makes you feel so small.
Then, in a blink of an eye, it all disappears as if you dreamed a nightmare.
Was it real?
You open your eyes for what feels like the first time and clarity awakens your soul.
Every sense feels raw....
Every Lie unraveled....
Every clock ticks a new era....
Suddenly, you stand taller and breathe deeper.
For just a brief moment, the tightrope you walk daily between the past and future, fantasy and reality, no longer exists.
*You've made it through the storm*
The hunger for life begins again.
You're more alive then you've ever been.

"Nothing in this wicked world lasts forever, not even our troubles."
